From NBC4 in Washington, D.C.: Security Guard Shot Dead At Va. Restaurant:
A security guard was shot dead early Saturday in the doorway of a city restaurant and police are searching for his killer, police said.
Officers were called to the Mi Casa Restaurant in the Central Park shopping center about 1:15 a.m. for several reports of shots fired. When they arrived, they found the victim just inside the front door, suffering two gunshot wounds to the chest, police said.
Police said 30-year-old Dasan Ka’Wila Richardson, a restaurant security guard, died a short time later, despite live-saving efforts at the restaurant and in an ambulance.
Detectives identified a possible shooter based on witness interviews. Police obtained a search warrant and the SWAT team made their way into a teen’s home in Riverside Manor about 11:15 a.m., police said. No one was there.
Police have obtained warrants charging Brandon Lee Smith, 19, with first-degree murder and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call Fredericksburg police at 540-372-1122.
The sad thing about this murder is that the security officer’s murder does not in and of itself mean that the drug dealing thug will get the death penalty in Virginia.

There is a women who has had a man love her, hold her, and be her man since high school years (Over a decade) that now when she rolls over at night will not have him there anymore. She will have an emptiness, he has been part of her life for better then half of her life. Thanks to “Bebe” she will no longer have him there, now she needs him the most, in her time of need, he is not able to be there, “Bebe” robbed them both of that.
What I think you don’t know, is not only was Dasan a VERY GOOD MAN, he was also very well connected to alot of people within the communities. All walks of life knew and loved Dasan for who he was. Dasan never cared what your up bringing was, nor did he care what you have done in your past, as long as you were respectful, you were respected.
Now, with all of this said, “Bebe” can run, “Bebe” can hide, “Bebe” can feel like a man for now, but “Bebe”, PP, SODB, and everyone else associated with them have awoken something much bigger then they ever realized, when this giant force comes for them, they will all regret any affiliation with what has happened.
So tell “Bebe”, “Rell”, “Gecci”, “Verl”, “Don Won”, “Tate”, “Slash”, and all the other bustas (Too many to name right now), the beast is awake, hide now, before the streets find them, they don’t realize what they have done, they need to come to peace with life before it’s over.
Patience is a virtue best held for those in situations like this, but when the fuse of patience runs out, the beast is free.
These are not threats, these are nothing more then knowledge of what has been done. For I know Dasan, I know the people he associates with, and I know that he is a very good person, with very good intentions in life, but there are alot of not so happy people because of this. All of them keeping there eyes open for everyone of you!

Dasan was a good person that I have known for at least 15 years. When we were younger I always had people picking on me since I was little, but Dasan was always there to have my back. We never had to fight as soon as he stepped up everyone decided it wouldn’t be good to beat on the little white boy. There had been many times it was a group of people that wanted to beat on me but Dansan always stayed beside me and always helped me out with everything. Having attended the funeral of this man, seeing the shell he walked around the world in laying there, it just brings back memories of years and years of the good things he did in life.
There were Many people who stood up and spoke of the many good things he has done for them, like helping other people’s kids with there homework when they could not, helping someone who was on their death bed keep affairs in order (Finacially and physically) until they actually made a recovery, young entrepreneurs get their start and feet off the ground, business men learn how to conduct business the right way, many friends and family members always talking about his big smile and how no matter what was wrong he would always be right there as a voice of reason and support.
The list goes on and on, but it all ended, the rock which held so many people together has been taken, by someone who wants to be “Hard”. A young person who’s family didn’t raise him with the morals that keep this society functioning everyday. Maybe they were afraid of Social Services if they were to put their hands on the child for his wrong doings, maybe they just didn’t care like so many parents do today.
When I was brought up I knew if I did wrong, my ass was gonna hurt for it, I also knew if I were to wrong someone it would come back on me 10 fold, I learned alot of lessons, respected all who respected me, and gave to those in need.
Sure everyone has done things they are not proud of in life, things that if they could go back they would take back, but the level in which this action has occured is not something that you can just regret, this was a lack of proper development and he as well as others are infecting todays youth with their stupid ways, where they make it look cool to do what they do.
I think they should find this boy, and show the world the form of torture he is to go through for his actions, maybe then it will show it isn’t so cool. Murder suspect captured outside Colonial Beach

A man wanted for a Jan. 12 slaying at a Fredericksburg nightspot was captured early yesterday in Westmoreland County.
Brandon Lee Smith, 19, was taken into custody without incident shortly before 2 a.m. at a home just outside Colonial Beach, police said.
Smith is charged with first-degree murder in connection with the shooting death of 30-year-old Dasan Ka’Wila Richardson.
Richardson was working as a bouncer at Mi Casa Restaurant in Central Park when he was shot twice in the chest with a .45-caliber gun during an altercation involving Smith and others, police said.
Fredericksburg police quickly identified and charged Smith in the slaying, but were unable to find him until yesterday.
Police said that Smith, also known as “BeBe,” is a member of the gang “Pound Property,” a gang which operates primarily in Colonial Beach, King George and Westmoreland.
Details regarding what led to Smith’s apprehension were sketchy yesterday, but city Lt. Eddie Delano said the key tip regarding Smith’s whereabouts was received by the Colonial Beach Police Department.
Beach police and Westmoreland deputies later went to the house and surrounded the residence. Smith walked out and gave himself up.
He was later turned over to Fredericksburg detectives and is being held without bond in the Rappahannock Regional Jail.
According to police, Richardson was working for a promoter who had rented Mi Casa for a “hip-hop” event.
Shortly after 1 a.m. that morning, Smith was forcibly removed from the building because he is underage and because event sponsors recognized him as someone who had caused problems at prior events.
Court records state that Smith returned five to seven minutes later with several other associates and got into a fight with bouncers.
Richardson was shot at point-blank range.
Smith also has drug trials pending next month in Fredericksburg Circuit Court.
